Right-click on the scorpion at the beginning menu of QFG1 original version for a cute message about finding the first bug in the game. If you eat mushrooms in either version, you'll hallucinate. They can ask the Meeps for 'detect magic' spell, and the hermit for 'trigger'. They can use 'open' to get the calm spell under the rock in Erana's Peace. They can purchase the open, fetch, and flame dart from Zara's magic shop.

Magic Users always start with the zap spell (that 'electrifies' a dagger). There is no 'Whirlwind Spell' mentioned in the original documentation. There is no 'Thermonuclear Spell' mentioned in the original documentation. However, it will tell you about those little things you always wanted to know. This information is not a walkthrough for each game it will not tell you everything you need to do. You bet there is! Some of this info may be common knowledge among fans these days, but for me as a kid in the years before things like Wikipedia, discovering this text was something of a revelation!ДЄnyway, I can't find this text anywhere online, so I wanted to just paste the full secret text for archival's sake and for everyone's enjoyment.
